Sarkari exam dates: SSC GD, SSC CGL, SSC MTS, RRB Group D and CTET
By NEET Exam Date · · Independent guide, not an official notice
"Sarkari exam" is how many people search for government recruitment exams: SSC GD, SSC CGL, SSC MTS, RRB Group D, CTET and more. Dates for these exams are changed, revised and re-announced often, and a great many websites copy yesterday's date without saying so. This guide explains where a trustworthy date comes from and how to read it.
Tentative calendar versus announced exam date
Recruiting bodies such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) publish a tentative calendar for the coming period. A tentative calendar gives a window, for example a span of months, and it can be revised. An exam date is stated in the official notice for that exam. Treating the first as the second is the most common mistake.
This site follows the same rule: a tentative window is labelled tentative, and a date is never inferred from last year's pattern.
SSC GD exam date 2026 and the 2027 cycle
SSC GD Constable recruits for central armed forces. The cycle name is not always the year the exam is held, so the 2026 cycle and the 2027 cycle are separate records. See our SSC GD exam date 2026 page for the archive and the separate 2027 window, each linked to ssc.gov.in.
SSC CGL exam date 2026 and SSC MTS exam date
SSC CGL and SSC MTS (including the 2025 MTS cycle that many people still search for) follow the same pattern: calendar first, notice second, revisions third. We do not yet monitor those two exams, and we list an exam in the Sarkari exam calendar only after its official source is in our source registry. Until then, open the SSC website, find the notice for the exact exam name and year, and read the schedule from the notice itself.
RRB Group D exam date 2025 and 2026
Railway recruitment is run through the Railway Recruitment Boards, and each cycle is identified by its notice. People search "group d exam date 2025" and "rrb group d exam date 2026" as if there were one answer, but the notice number and cycle matter more than the year. Always confirm which notice you applied under, and use only the official RRB websites for schedule, city and admit card information.
CTET exam date 2026
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a separate type of exam: it is an eligibility test, not a direct recruitment. Its schedule is published in the official CTET notice, and the session you register for is the one that counts. Treat the information bulletin as the final word on dates, fees and eligibility.
"Exam sarkari result info": how to use result sites safely
Searches like "exam sarkari result info" lead to aggregator sites. They can be handy as an alert that something changed, but they are not authorities, and some are cluttered with misleading buttons. A safe habit:
- Use the aggregator only to learn that something changed.
- Open the official website of the authority yourself, not through a link on the aggregator.
- Find the notice or result link on that site and read the date there.
- Never enter your roll number, password or Aadhaar number on a site you reached through an unfamiliar link.
Build your own sarkari exam plan
Put each exam you are targeting into the Exam Date Finder and the exam calendar, run the application checklist before you apply, and keep the exam day checklist for the last week. For dates that change, the exam alerts page explains what is and is not connected today.

Frequently asked questions
What is the SSC GD exam date 2026?
This site keeps the SSC GD 2026 cycle as an archive and shows the 2027 cycle separately, with the official SSC source. SSC publishes a tentative calendar, and a tentative window is not an exam date.
Where do I check the RRB Group D exam date?
On the official Railway Recruitment Board websites and in the RRB notices. Check the notice for the exact cycle, because Group D cycles are named by their notice, not only by year.
Is a sarkari result website official?
Not unless it is the authority's own website. Result-aggregator sites can be useful for discovery, but confirm every date and result on the official domain.
