Methodology
How we verify dates
Rules
- Official sources only. Public notices, bulletins and calendars from the exam authority. No hidden APIs, no bypassing access controls.
- No inferred dates. We never derive a date from past years or news headlines.
- Separate events. Original, rescheduled and re-examination dates are stored as separate events with their scope and source.
- Review before publishing. A date marked "awaiting human review" has been read from a notice title only and must be confirmed against the notice itself.
- Timestamped. Each date shows when it was last checked, in Indian Standard Time.
Status labels
- Confirmed: published in an official notice we have opened.
- Tentative: an indicative schedule that may change.
- Official date not announced yet: nothing found in the sources checked, as of the timestamp shown.
- Superseded / Cancelled / Historical: kept for the record, with the notice that changed it.
Automated source checking is built as a script but is not yet connected to a database, so today's dates are maintained by hand from the sources listed on the source policy.
