NEET UG result, scorecard and cut-off

NTA announces the NEET UG result and scorecard on the official website. Before that comes a provisional answer key with a short window to challenge it.

Open the official NEET UG website

The order of events

1. Exam, then the OMR sheet and recorded responses are made available.
2. Provisional answer key, with a window to raise objections. A fee per challenge is normally charged.
3. Final answer key after NTA reviews the objections. The result is prepared from this key.
4. Result and scorecard, with marks, percentile and all India rank (AIR).

Reading the scorecard

• Marks are out of 720.
• The percentile and the all India rank are shown with the marks.
• To qualify you must reach the qualifying percentile for your category. The bulletin states the percentiles.
• Qualifying is not the same as getting a seat. Seats go by rank in counselling.

The bulletin also sets how ties in marks are broken, for example by comparing marks in particular subjects. Read that section if your rank looks too close.

What next

• Keep several printed copies of the scorecard and your documents.
• Go to the counselling guide for MCC and state rounds.
• Look at last year's timeline in the NEET UG 2025 archive.
